Auditing quality

Why audit ?

The purpose of audit is to assess quality and support organisations in making improvements.

We help organisations to:

Focus on how working practices affect results
Identify areas for improvement and action planning
Acknowledge, celebrate and build on strengths
Assess the severity of risk and the probability of occurrence
Measure and benchmark performance
Help clients to develop and implement audit tools to self-audit.

Types of audit

Commonly there are three types of audit. Audits can be carried out as:

part of a planned approach to improvement
a process of evaluating suppliers/managing agents/potential providers
a means to support organisations moving out of crisis
